Fiorio, a Triumph of Prints
Pitti Immagine Uomo 89 (Florence, 12 - 15 January 2016)
Every year, Fiorio aims to impress by presenting collections which always indicate a new creative direction. For Autumn/Winter 2016-17, ties play a key role featuring printed designs which characterise a large part of the collection both on twill and wool. For the wools, the drapery retains its classic warm shades in traditional designs such as check or houndstooth patterns. It’s a different story for the silks however, where stripes give way to micro designs, while the handkerchief range remains characteristically impressive with doubled and printed wool products on offer. Finally, given the success of printed items over the last few seasons, the new collection of scarves will also feature printed designs on the traditional 70x180 dimensions with patchwork in various colours and classic mono-designs which range from floral patterns to geometric shapes.
