Canepa brands at "Pitti Immagine Uomo 93"
Florence, January 9th - 12th, 2018
There was a large turnout at the Florentine event "Pitti Immagine Uomo 93", to which the well known brands of Canepa Group - Fiorio, La Rana, Gallieni and Tino Cosma attended.
Many novelties will be on stage in the upcoming F/W season: the big company located in Como keeps on showing a state-of-the-art attitude, reflected into the mood of each brand.
For F/W 2018 La Rana is presenting the latest cashmere scarves collection, made of products becoming season by season more appreciated thanks to their renowned features: high-quality materials and refined designs, strongly differing from any other proposal on the market.
Vivid, bright - coloured tigers, snakes and dragons make up the main theme of the collection. In addition to them, horses, hot air balloons and sailing ships fit perfectly into the formerly mentioned patterns, giving birth to a lively and dream - inspired collection.
Tino Cosma stresses the elegance of a Made in Italy Winter: from the classic stripes, micro-patterns and geometrical motives of sartorial ties to the newest, sophisticated cashmere models with burnt, orange and warm green tones, check patterns and Arabic - style mosaics; to these can be added bright red and brown, not forgetting the timeless blue colours, like China and deep petroleum tonalities.
Wool and silk textiles are skilfully sewn to create refined combinations of ties and pochettes, along with funny and colourful bow ties. Warm, soft, wide scarves integrate this collection together with precious leather belts, rigorously Made in Italy.
Gallieni shows a Winter collection characterised by the classic refined taste of ties, printed scarves and jacquards woven in warm autumnal colours, such as burnt tones, brown and military green; of course blue and vibrant royal shades should be mentioned as well. Patterns include classic polka dots and geometrical shapes, together with designs recalling the Fifties and typically Brit regimental stripes.
Silk, wool and cashmere are used with woven effects; moreover, diverse weaves and different kinds of finishing give the collection a touch of contemporaneity.
The latest Fiorio products for F/W 2018 are colourfully printed ties, handkerchiefs and scarves. Particular attention should be paid to brand-new 100% cashmere scarves, large - sized (90 x 190 cm) and printed on light - weight qualities.
The new collection includes both the historical silk tube - shaped fabrics, realised in a twill weave with classic patterns, and traditional tubular wool bases with the clearly recognisable faux uni style.
New printed wools have been chosen for Fiorio ties, which are studied for heaving a small knot in line with new market trends. Lined silk twill ties are fully faithful to Fiorio traditional values.
The British - inspired theme of hunting is developed in jacquards and mixed cashmere materials using warm colours and refined combinations.
The collection is completed by printed silk and 100 % wool pochettes, including both 33 x 33 cm coupled items and single articles.
