Vibrant colours and designs for the new S/S 2018 collections
Pitti Uomo 92 (Florence 13-16 June 2017)
Like every year, Canepa brands - Fiorio, Gallieni and Tino Cosma – are on show at the international Pitti Immagine Uomo event with their new collections for Spring/Summer 2018. Vibrant colours and designs set the tone for collections which continue to demonstrate a diverse and original creative style. Fiorio is offering printed designs in both its tie and scarf ranges, combining bright colours with more classic whites and blues. The ties are characterised by light pure silk lining, alongside jersey cotton polos and vintage shirts all carefully printed, as well as a long-sleeved polo shirt with pastel patterns for fans of terrycloth. But the most striking new feature for this season are the three sarongs all printed with the "SAVE the WATER" logo, making them even more unique and exclusive, and above all, environmentally-sustainable. Staying with the beach theme, it is impossible to miss Fiorio’s beachwear range which owes its success to the tie-style designs in both the classic and vintage versions.
The vibrant and bright colours are blended with pastel shades in Gallieni’s summer collection made up of ties, pocket squares, bow ties and scarves. The classic feel is expressed through micro-patterns and subtle arrangements, with the predominating shades ranging from beige to fawn and cream as well as seaside colours, reds and greens which enhance both the jacquard and light prints.
Finally, the summer collection of textile accessories from Tino Cosma features an abundance of fresh and colourful designs including cashmere with small geometric patterns and classic polka dots, timeless stripes in embossed textiles, and subtle undulating medallion, majolica and floral designs for ties, pocket squares and scarves. The collection is rounded off with fresh and colourful beachwear, ranging from swimming shorts to comfortable t-shirts.
