Milano Unica: Success at the new exhibition
Showcasing the autumn/winter 2017/2018 collections
The 23rd edition of Milano Unica – the Italian Fabric and Accessories Exhibition – held for the first time at Fieramilano Rho was a great success. Over six thousand companies viewed the A/W 2017/2018 collections. Like last year, the result confirmed the importance of this event used to show visitors an updated approach, focused on the search for quality products. According to Ercole Botto Poala, President of Milano Unica, “As businesses, we need to accept the risks associated with working in a rapidly changing world. We need to adopt new approaches and constantly change and innovate. However, we need to do this in the most united way possible, with the firm belief that only by acting together will we overcome local rivalries and take advantage of the opportunities which the current transformations offer”. Canepa presented its new products at the event, created using increasingly sustainable production processes which comply with the standards set by Greenpeace’s Detox protocol. The event was another opportunity for the company to demonstrate its commitment to environmental protection in accordance with market demands.
